  • Performed hazardous material surveys, studies and reports across numerous property locations throughout Detroit. Surveys intended to verify and quantify, to the extent possible, any asbestos-containing pipe insulation and pipefitting, various insulation materials, flooring, wall plaster, roofing, fire doors and any other suspected asbestos containing materials within abandoned buildings. The results of the asbestos studies were precursory for demolition projects planned in accordance with the current EPA’s 40 CFR Part 61 of the Federal Register, and NESHAP revision. The reports included recommendations on proper removal guidelines and procedures, various removal options and waste disposal procedures. The survey was performed by personnel who have completed EPA-approved training with certifications by the State of Michigan, Department of Labor and Economic Growth-Asbestos Program (MDLEG) as an asbestos inspector.
