Shoreline Protection for Pedestrian Walkway
The Detroit River Pedestrian Walkway Project was conceived to run through a series of phases
considering the work volume and the time it would require to be completed. The Eastern Walkway involved the work of pilings, building of a lakefront, floating plant and temporary work platforms with environmental protection, temporary flood/retaining structures and Cast-In- Place structural concrete for civil work. Overall vehicular and pedestrian traffic control was also to be maintained.
Our experts completed this phase of the work smoothly with no disruptions and as per contracted schedule.
